What Calc Does
Calc.co.ke is a free calculator platform built for Kenya. It covers the numbers people look up daily — PAYE and other taxes, loan repayments, M-PESA and till charges, Kenya Power tokens, HELB balances, SHIF and NSSF deductions, insurance premiums, and more — organised into Tax, Loans, M-PESA, Bills, Finance, Insurance & Legal, Logistics & Shipping, and Health & Lifestyle calculators.
Why We Built It
Kenya's tax bands, statutory deductions, and utility tariffs change often, and the official sources that publish them — KRA, NSSF, the SHIF authority, EPRA, Kenya Power, HELB, and individual banks and lenders — are scattered across different sites and formats. Calc pulls those numbers into one place and turns them into a calculator, so the answer takes seconds instead of a spreadsheet.
How We Keep Calculators Accurate
Every calculator on Calc is built directly from the current official rate, band, or tariff — KRA tax bands, NSSF and SHIF contribution rates, EPRA fuel and Kenya Power tariffs, HELB repayment schedules, published bank and mobile-lender rates, and statutory fee schedules. Calculators are reviewed and updated as rates change, and again at each new tax year (2026 currently), so the numbers stay current.
